Hotel Operations Certificate Course
The first year , Hotel Operations, (HO) of the three-year
Bachelor degree programme is also a a one-year certificate
course. The programme focuses on the operational side of the
four key functions of a hotel (Food Production, Food &
Beverage Service, Housekeeping & Laundry Operations and
Front Office Operations) and can be taken as a stand-alone
course.
Students who successfully complete this course and who do not
move to the second year are awarded with the Certificate in
Hotel Operations.
Hotel
Management Diploma Course
Upon successful completion of the Hotel Operations course,
students may move to the Hotel Management (HM) course, the
second year of the degree programme.
Students who hold diplomas from other hotel schools recognised
by IHTTI may enter this course directly. The entry level will
be assessed by IHTTI's academic board..
Students who successfully complete this course are awarded the
Diploma in Hotel Management.
Both courses are made up of 21 weeks at the School and 20 weeks
of industry placement.
